Driver Heated Seat Control Module
It's a bit hard to access, but if you move the seat all the way up, front and back, you should be able to get to it. It's held in by 4 screws.- HarryS

Horn problem
Any update on this? The horn button, along with all the other controls on the steering wheel, go through the right switch assy. Then the right switch assy converts all the signals and sends them out on a LIN bus line to the clock spring. The clock spring takes the LIN bus commands and converts...- HarryS

I installed an 8.4 in my SLT and have been getting this message on an intermittent, but consistent basis. Is it because the VIN hasn't been set in the radio? I have the 3G dongle from M2 Mods installed. How can I turn it off?- HarryS

Adjustable pedals.
Job done. I actually upgraded the dash wiring harness, which included the heated seat support. The existing harness already has the connectors for both ends of the adjustable pedals. I have since added memory seats, wired the connection to the drivers door, for the mirror memory, and the 7 wires...- HarryS

17 Laramie door harness swap to 17 tradesmen
The wiring harness isn't necessary, unless you want to activate the lights in the door panel. It's wired off 2 connectors that are in the harness on the laramie, but not in the Tradesman. I didn't have the harness's, so I had to make my own addition to the harness to make the lights work.- HarryS

Horn & Audio Controls Not Working, NOT Clock Spring issue! PLEASE HELP!
I Know this is an old thread, but I did find out that the left controls, the horn, the audio controls on the back of the steering wheel go through the right button assy. They are then mux'd out of the right switch assy on a lin bus wire.- HarryS

Steering wheel controls on the left side 2020 1500
The controls are all muxed. Everything on the steering wheel goes thru the right switch assy. It's then muxed out on a LIN bus to the clock spring. That's why you have a slight delay when hitting the horn.- HarryS

Adding Laramie Door panels
Thanks for all the help guys. I figured it out myself. Pigtailed the LED wires, connected them to each other, and then added a wire from the connector at the body, put a 2 wire connector between the two. -

Heated steering wheel upgrade
To answer the OP's question. You will need the heated seat module, and the seat wiring harness for the driver's seat. The heated seat module controls the steering wheel heater. -

Yes, I'm aware that LKQ sells parts. I purchased the door panels from them. I'm asking what is needed to connect the door panel wiring (for the lights). -

For those that have added Laramie door panels, how does the wiring for the courtesy lights connect? I know on the front doors they connect to the door module, but all I have is the pigtails for the two lights. (I don't have a junk yard nearby that can carry the newer model trucks. -

The other person's statement about the seat switch being a 'mux' switch is incorrect, with the exception of the mirror control. The seat switch directly feeds the memory module, which then passes the commands to the seat. And I did install memory mirrors on a non memory truck, and they work... -

The 6x9 are the non-tow mirror. what part number door module do you have? It has to end in either 102 or 103. Otherwise, it won't allow power folding or memory. -

Sorry, I was replying to Rip. But, your memory mirrors will plug into the existing door module. I have the 6x9 memory, power folding, heated and auto-dimming mirrors, that I added, and the door module connectors are the same, the programming is different inside them. All features that the door... -

Unless you have the memory dash harness, I doubt you will be able to get it to work. I installed a 2016 dash harness, and while it does have the adjustable pedal connector, there is no memory wires in it. The 4 pin connector is there, but with only 2 pins. I checked the wire diagrams as well...
