Smoke testing for a vacuum leak
I did a smoke test for a suspected vacuum leak. I hooked up the tester to the vacuum line going into the brake booster. Now my silly question. A lot of smoke came out of the vacuum pump. Code P2172
Truck stalled. Would turn over but, not start and had to get a tow. Only code was P2172 throttle Actuator Control System - Sudden High Air Flow Detected.
