Wobble in the rear after 2/4 Belltech?

I understand. I have a heart condition and when I installed my belltech kit in 100 degree temp, after putting the front shocks on, I decided I would leave the stock shocks on in the rear, for now atleast. I'm thinking about getting QA1 shocks.

    The stages of my drop

I got no wobble up to 90mph (in Mexico). Haven't gone any faster than that. I got kind of a mix matched belltech kit. I got it used with street performer shocks for $300. The guy said he had it on his truck for 6 months and decided to go lower. It did not come with front bump stops. I bought...

    2013 Big Horn

I plan on a 6.4 intake swap in the future but can't afford it at the moment, so I ported my 5.7 manifold. It cost 0 dollars. I already installed a less restrictive muffler, Vararam, 87mm ported throttle body, and a throttle controller. I think they all work together like synergy. My truck runs...

    Synthetic Oil

I've had my truck about a year and I have just been taking to the drive through oil place and what ever oil they put in it is what I got. Recently I've started doing some upgrades and preventative maintenance to my truck. I've decided to change the oil myself from now on. Truck has 149k miles...

    Donut Switch

I installed this switch today. It disables abs, stability control, and traction control. I probably won't use it, but like having the option of turning off those systems with the flip of a switch. It was just some connectors, wire that I already had, 30 amp fuse, and a $5 toggle switch from...

    Aftermarket Valve Covers

I plan on getting a 6.4 intake but don't think it will be anytime soon. I will probably get headers and a tune before the intake.

I'm going to use the leg maker from Moe's

    Aftermarket Valve Covers

I never said that I wasn't going to get a 6.4 intake. How about I waste my money on both, an intake and valve covers.

    Aftermarket Valve Covers

What are the pros and cons of aftermarket valve covers? Besides appearance, are there any benefits? I've seen some billet aluminum covers that look cool but I don't want something that holds in more heat or prevents proper lubrication or something harmful. I wouldn't mind finding some orange...

5.7 with 6.4 cam and intake makes no bottom end

If I get the 6.4 intake from Moe's and put it on my 5.7 will I lose bottom end power like op did, or is it the cam that is causing his problems?

    The stages of my drop

I first decided that I wanted to lower the rear about 2" to level it. I didn't want to take too much off so I started by cutting 1.5 coils(Top pic). Then I drove it about a week and decided it needed to come down more so i cut another 0.5 coil off for a total of 2.0 coils(2nd pic). It still...

    Belltech bump stops

Sounds like if there were problems with the Inez no cut kit, it's likely this Trekline kit may have problems also. I am interested in installing relocation brackets so I can get an idea of how they work, there strengths and weaknesses. I'm a retired millwright/welder and army tank mechanic...

    Belltech bump stops

No cut kit. The description says 1"-4" drop only, will not work for 5"+ drops. I didn't measure mine but I think it's about 4.5" or 4.75". Maybe I will try these brackets. https://treklinemotorsports.com/8003404/09-18-ram-1500-4-link-rear-bracket-relocation-kit-no-cut-for-4-drop/

Trekline motorsports sells no cut brackets. Are they no good?

    Belltech bump stops

Ok, I will get the brackets. If I get the cut brackets, does that mean I drill less holes, as I would with the no cut brackets? What's the difference in cut or no cut? Is one better than the other?

    Belltech bump stops

Thanks for the advice. I may get the relocation brackets. I think that I read in another thread that you recommend the brackets instead of replacing control arms because someone replaced conrol arms and it didn't fix the problems he was having until he installed the brackets. I wonder if he had...

    2013 Big Horn

Is there anything I can do to make the 6 speed transmission last longer, besides the way I drive it? Torque converter, shift kit, 4.10 gears, will any of these things help to prolong the life of a 6 speed transmission?

    Belltech bump stops

Yes I left the factory bump stops inplace. I ordered these bump stops. I might trim a little off of them. This is how the truck looks with the belltech kit installed. I am thinking about cutting one coil off the rear springs to make it more level.

    Detailing: How to Debadge/Favorite Method

I used fishing line. Then I sharpened the edge of an old credit card to scrape almost all the adhesive off. The plastic won't damage the paint. Then cleaned the rest of it off with rubbing alcohol and a rag.
