    I have a 3.7L v6 w 196k miles on it. Takes 5 quarts of 5w30 I buy the 20k oil but I change it every 10k or less. It consumes 3 quarts every 10k miles. At that rate of adding oil, should I even bother with oil changes since a new quart is coming in every 3k miles?

    the door was partially open, the wind blew it all the way open hard. now there is no longer the slight gap between the front quarter panel and the door. when I open and close the door the scrapes the front panel, anyone experience this and was able to fix it?     Putting up and removing sand bags everytime the weather gets bad isn't a good option since I have a bulging disc. The rear engine is probably more work than I want to do

    I used a small tire plug but shoudda used a big one (VW Tiguan)

    pulled out a screw, stuck in a tire plug. tire still has a slow (albeit much slower) leak. I think I may have skrewed up, I don't supposed I can force a big plug through the smaller one?

    oil consumption is now over a quart in just over a week. no oil spots after I park and no oil smell while driving, strangely there are some droplets splashed on the fan cover and bottom half of the intake, I touched the spots and they looked like and felt like they could have been very fresh oil

    got around to pulling off the passenger kick panel, lots of water in the groove. pulled up the flooring, tons of water. I've had a few places look into it, no one can solve the leak. can I just drill relief holes in the floor? if so, how do I keep the holes from rusting, just paint?

    My truck is a 2006 RWD V6 w no sunrooof No water appears when driving in the rain. Only when stationary and during a heavy rain? Garden hose has been tried before all over, no leaks. I'll remove the kick panel next heavy rain.
