Awful gas mileage: 2024 RAM Rebel GT
The issue is the duratrac tires. They rob the mileage. I had the stock 20in sra's on my 2018 outdoorsman and got an avg of 13L/100kms. Switched to 20in KO2 and avged 14L/100kms. 18in Durtracs were worse at 16L/100kms. Michellin LTX 20in were the best at 10.5L/100kms. All of these were over...- ultivssl

2023 Ram steering issue
Hmm, that actually sounds like it's an issue with the signal arm catch binding with the steering wheel column. I have no idea how it is in our trucks, but I do know in the caravans and a bunch of other non-chrysler vehicles, when you flip the signal stalk, it pushes out a little plastic piece...- ultivssl

Camping 2024
Price of gas hasn't really impacted us for our trips. But, it does reduce the activities we do. No mini-golf, only 2 trips for ice cream a week (used to be every other day), and less tubing and more fishing.- ultivssl

Hello from a fellow Saskie. On my 4th gen I ran Michelin LTX MS2 and it was pretty good over the frost cracks. In my 5th gen (rodent write off of the 4th gen) the duratrac tires on the rebel suck balls. The stock bilsteins do help a bit, but not much. But also the northern roads in Sask suck...- ultivssl

Winter/All-Terain Tire Recommendations?
After using both BFG KO2 and studded Duratrac's, the KO2s are the way to go. The KO2s perform so much better in snow, I plowed 10kms of 2ft deep snow in them with no issues, the duratracs got stuck after just a few car lengths. my 2018 gen 4 does the same thing, I did some reading on it and apparently the electric rack has a sensor in it where it'll help compensate for slightly off center positioning (I think to help with driving in cross winds). I actually just took my 2018 RAM 1500 in due to its AC not working. The work order referenced a TSB, TSB24-010-18. It covers replacing the condenser plug at the bottom there. Mine was all covered under warranty, so didn't pay attention to the hours, but doubt it was too much. Sorry to hear... -

Really?!? That seems to indicate it's a lubrication problem. Since reading on other threads the cams seem to be splash lubed and police cars see tons of idling. First oil change and the ‘18 already needs replacement parts
I changed the oil and filter in my US built 2018 1500 (live in Canada) and my filter was on stupidly tight too. Changed it at 4k due to break-in and put in PUP 5w20 with FRAM Ultra filter. Going to change the oil and filter with RL 5w30 and RP 10-48- ultivssl

Yup those are the ones I was talking about. They're awesome, except i went with just some Phillip's Halogens for the highs since it seems to run LEDs in the highs, you need to cut the dust caps on our quad housings and looking, there's no way to get around it. I will eventually go down that... -

Tired of Searching - Speaker?
I'm curious about the limiting of frequencies. Are the limiters built-in the head unit or in the stock speakers. I want to keep my head unit, but upgrade the speakers.
