Do people calibrate their speedometers right after getting bigger tires or have people just not calibrated right away?

Yea i understand just doing the calculations and figuring out how much percentage your speedo is off and go that route. I was just saying that the truck wont automatically do that and have a correct speedo. Shift points will also be off.

Do people calibrate their speedometers right after getting bigger tires or have people just not calibrated right away?

No haaaaaaa, thats just to change the computer settings if you DO regear…which requires new differential gears.

Do people calibrate their speedometers right after getting bigger tires or have people just not calibrated right away?

Getting the tire size calibrated will certainly help some, mainly by getting the shift points back into check. But you will still have a much more sluggish feel when going from the stock 32’s-33’s to a set of 37’s. A regear would help with that dramatically.

    3” Rear Coil Springs?

What style soacer? Poly, steel, upper, lower? Are they bolted in place? Ive been running steel spacers on the front of my power wagon for 100k miles and still never heard a peep from them. Could be other things making the noise…sway bar links, control arm bushings, even the e-brake.

    3” Rear Coil Springs?

Cant help you with spring recommendations. But figured i would ask…are you sure the springs/spacers are what is squeaking?

Rear shocks on a lifted Ram

Need more info. Half ton, 3/4 ton? How much lift? Current setup use any shock extenders?

    What parts should I replace?

Its probably a zone 4/6” lift. If so, thats much better than any RC setup. Dont go downgrading lol. Check for worn components that might be making the clunking noise. Control arm bushing, sway bar bushings etc. Nice looking truck! Yes, wheel spacers would keep your tires from rubbing. Too much...

2019 Ram 1500 Classic 1 1/2 inch rear lift Question

Some people claim the poly ones can make more noise (squeaking?)…dono, never had em.

2019 Ram 1500 Classic 1 1/2 inch rear lift Question

No real advantages or disadvantages with top vs bottom. The metal vs poly is pretty much a personal preference as well.

    Want to lower rear

Ummmmmm…i think he actually does, seeing how he asked about how to lower the rear, not how to raise the front. Wth

    Want to lower rear

Changing the shocks wont lower it. You need to change out the coils with something shorter. If you will tow occasionally and would like to get it back level then you cant go wrong with a set of air bags in my opinion (they go in place of the bumpstops).

    Leveling Kit Recommendation - 2" - 2.5"

Skip the preload spacers…they shouldnt even be considered. Not sure why they even make them anymore. About the cheapest tried and true level is the bilstein 5100’s. Control arms arnt an absolute requirement right off the bat, but you'll need them sooner than later eventually.

    Consensus on 4" lift.

Ouch…$8000ish is a hell of a bullet to bite lol. And that dosnt include fiberglass fenders which are apparently required. Badass kit though!

    2020 1500 limited bounces after 2in level

How the hell would removing an electronic sensor for air suspension and replacing with a bracket even sound remotely correct to even somebody who didnt know what they were doing? No wonder the truck was riding crummy.

    2020 1500 limited bounces after 2in level

I can understand the brackets from the prior kit, but the original sensors are not there anymore?!

Tires make all the difference in the world!

Ive heard nothing but good from them as well. And i think most sizes have 3 ply sidewalls too.
