    Regearing

I'd use a gear calculator to match the factory rpm at x speed if you'd like to keep it as factory as possible.

Need help with 2011 Ram electrical short in drivetrain system

I'd say it's a shorted module. I've seen it with my testing if I cross wires by accident it'll do allll sorts of weird junk. Wipers, lights go wonky says truck is in gear key won't do anything. Could try to get a junk yard unit and try it.

But why? Doesn't make any sense to modify that bulb when it's just as common as the rest

    TOSS-UP HELP

I usto tow alot with my 2015. Over max towing capacity by about 2000lb and I never seen my trans get too hot with the factory cooler. Personally I don't see it being much use if the factory cooler can keep temps down through the Yukon Mountain. Go with the throttle body 100%

    New motor recommendation

Oh no I seriously considered it but didn't want to build a divorced t case out of the factory 44-44 unit or build new driveshafts. I even considered an ls swap because I found a supercharged crate ls for 2k cheaper than the 6.4

    ISSUE WITH STEERING

The shaft can feel fine but the needle bearings can bind in eachother under pressure and cause a popping. Seen it before. Usually the shaft binds before that but definately don't rule it out. You can take it off and move the joints around but that proves they're not binding unloads it doesn't...

    4WD Auto vs AWD

Borg warner 44-44 is actually labeled as an awd t case from the manufacturer its self. And even in 4x4 lock it acts as an awd system.

    Transfer case

I'd have someone hold the brakes and shift it from Forward to reverse and see if you see anything or can pinpoint the location of the sound.

    Transfer case

It is but in 2wd it's only transmitting straight through the transmission. Anything turning in the t case while in 2wd is just the film strength of oil allowing it to frewheel or if you're moving the front driveshaft back feeding into the t case. I'd start by checking mounts and u joints. Do you...

    Transfer case

It's chain driven gears went away long ago.. That said you should only feel that slack in 4x4 if it were the t case as the rear side of things is directly driven.. The best way to test to see if it's a chain is to put it in 4x4 and Floor it. Make it be under extreme load it will start to make a...
