Im thinking good deals on redline will be gone for a while since they moved locations. Hopefully prices come down now that they can blend larger batches
Im curious how the staff will carry over as thats a big move. Im thinking its why dave granquest retired but im wondering if their chief chemist roy howell will stay with redline. He must be able to retire and im guessing he only stays out of his love for the company and the industry but a move...
So this is looking like its actually a great move for redline. Ive talked with guy i talked to previously and he just met with p66. The move took place last week. Ill just copy and paste what he said after i asked about formulation changes
No formulation changes at all.
Simply better...
So apparantly redline oil has bailed out of california and is now doing their blending in tennessee with headquarters in houston at the same address as p66. Dave granquest has retired as well
With the wix xp it has holes in the centertube so you can see if the one your buying on the shelf still has the wire backed microglass media despite what tje box says

Yes! I discovered it accidently looking up filters on rock auto so i started looking for thread size and gasket and whatnot and found the flow rates. Its essentially the same size but i believe it to be better
I got the flow numbers from summit racing. Sadly they dont list the flow rate for the royal purple filters. The bypass psi opening is 22 psi on the 51372xp and for the 57899xp its 16 psi
I just bought another one ill check how many holes. I just put one on my truck and all is well so far
