Huge fluid burst in engine bay
To keep it short, was driving my 18 1500 3.6 for around 20-30 mins. Stopped and placed it in park, noted my coolant temps were around 224. Truck idled for maybe 1 minute. Transmission - flow direction
Dear members, on my RAM 1500 year 2011 I should know, how is the flow direction of the tranny fluid to the cooler? The picture shows the two lines. Upper to the cooler or vice-versa? Thanks for your help Frank- cirquit

What's the consensus on fluid change for 8 speed?
What's the general consensus on changing the 8 speed transmission fluid? Should you attempt to change it or just trust that the fluid lasts a really long time? I don't know how sold I am on the idea of it being "lifetime fluid."- JS1500
