2008 1500 bumper swap to a 2005 1500

First off, Sorry if this is a repeat question.
I have a 2005 1500 SLT quad cab with the 4.7
As stated above, I was wondering if anyone has swapped a 2008 front bumper onto a 2005. Is it a plug and play or is there a lot of rigging going into it? Obviously, my headlights will have to change. I'm also fairly certain my grill will have to change as well. Attached pictures aren't of mine. But it's just for visual reference so you can see what I'm talking about. Them being gen 3 I don't see why it can't be done.

I have seen it done however you need to change the whole front clip hood fenders grill ect not really worth it unless your up for a project.
