Found out the Rebel not only has the flaps deleted from factory (at least the '18), but doesn't even have the motor/sensor, so I was doing my headlights last weekend, and yanked the whole damn AGS frame out of the RAM, drove it to/from a local zoo (about 20 miles each way), and to work this morning, no issues at all!
I left the bottom "air dam" on, but otherwise just pulled the 4 13mm bolts, and pulled the whole frame out. On the way to the Zoo yesterday, it was like mid 70's, the coolant was at 199F, versus the 203F I usually see.
I didn't remember this morning to check while I was on the interstate, but I'm going to try and look tonight on the way home.
