I purchased a 2013 Longhorn 1500 with 42k miles a month ago. Twice in the past month, I've gotten a brief "Service Immediately" type notification regarding my air suspension, after which the ride became very stiff and bouncy. Both times, my truck rode normal the next time I drove it, smooth like butter. One time it happened driving 35 MPH in a neighborhood, the other time was driving 65 MPH on a highway, so it's not related to the AERO feature.

Any thoughts on what's going on here? Simple fix or major dealer repair? Any experience welcomed, thanks!

Could be anything, have you taken it to the dealer to investigate "Service Immediately" message? That would have been my first step.

Not yet, I have a hard time trusting dealers, I was hoping to gather some personal experiences first. I'll reply to the thread when/if resolved in case someone else has the issue. I have not had any problems with it since posting this thread, thankfully.

As an update, I left my truck at a local RAM dealership for ten days and they claimed they could not reproduce the problem and the diagnostics test showed no issues. Of course, they did charge me $150 for their time.

The issue now happens every time I hit the highway for longer than an hour. Hopefully someone with a similar problem reads this and has something to offer!

My suspicion is there is some sort of overheating or overuse problem. When I turn the truck off for 10 or 15 mins, the system seems to reset without issue and does not go into service mode again unless I'm driving for a while. Everyday driving around town causes no problems.
