Earlier today I installed a pair of Alpharex Nova P/N 880541 with P/N 810003 converters (since I have factory projectors) on my 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie. I did not install the separate DRL harness because I'm in the habit of rotating the headlight switch one click during the day anyway since probably 90% of my miles are towing a trailer.
I figured that I'd give them a try without making any configuration changes using AlfaOBD, and while I've only taken one relatively brief test drive there haven't been any EVIC messages so far.
I'm curious if there are any recommended configuration changes and why? I'm certainly quite happy to follow the if it ain't broken, don't fix it philosophy.
