Yes... one more fob post although this is a bit different. I searched and didn't find this exact issue... although I didn't read the entirety of all 1,000,000,000 posts so I apologize if this has been covered.
Truck is just past 10 years old, first fob gave out pretty early... maybe after three years so the current one has been getting hammered on for 7ish years. At first I thought it was a range issue but it turns out it's time held down. It used to be pretty much instant but now I must hold the button (lock/unlock behave the same) for 2-3 seconds before it registers and responds The range is actually as good as it ever was. Of course, I've swapped batteries several times. In the end it's not a huge deal but got me wondering why it's doing this all of the sudden and if anyone has an idea if it means something is failing?
