Bed repair

New to the forum and new to owning a ram truck... Long time coming.

The truck I picked up has a hole cut in the bed for what I would assume was a stack exhaust at one point.

Does anyone have a source for truck bed pieces for doing repair patching?

call some auto scrap yards
I am sure that they have a load of Ram beds that are damaged in other places than yours.
They will just cut a 2 X 2 feet wide section out of a bed & charge you for it.

Then you can try to fix it yourself or take it to an body shop

Just google "Pickup Bed Floor Patch", you can get it cheap.

Burla, I've done a bunch of searching using those words, I find a bunch for Ford's but nothing for our tucks. Hens the reason I jumped on here to see if anyone knows of a specific place that's not showing up in the searches

Raybuck makes all of the panels that tend to rust out

You could buy complete beds, tailgates, side panels, fenders, head boards
BUT you can't buy a section of a floor
You need to go to a auto dismantling yard for that.

Would go to a local fab shop that has a metal brake and have them fab up a piece to weld in.
