Body lift question

I got a 3" body lift for free this morning from a buddy who had a bunch of lift blocks bouncing around the garage but no fan shroud brackets etc. what all else do I need to get? Can I just leave the fan shroud off for now? is there enough play in the shift linkage for the tranny? I know the 4x4 lever can just sit lower in the floor that's not a problem I want it lower anyways, I need to get bolts also, but they can all be bought from TSC, what grade should they be 5 or 8? I know some of the brackets can be made with the right tools.

Hmm only thing I can say is definitely grade 8 bolts, free bump for ya though

Yeah grade 8. Also need to move the bumpers but those are just some brackets you can probably fab up.

Is the spacer for the steering a chunk of polymer?

Yeah I'm putting a 2x4 steel bumper with shackle mounts and a pre-runner bar on it eventually so I'll just have it made for the lift. The back looks like I'll need to make something though.

not sure what the spacer is made out of. just know for all body lifts you need a spacer
