Asked about doing spark plugs on here a long time ago but never got around to it, I know they're supposed to be done every 30,000 miles/ 48,000 kms or close to that.. have Had the truck for 82,000 kms and who knows how long the plugs were in there before.
Anyways, The job took me a long time but took a few breaks etc. Drivers side behind brake booster was obviously the hardest part. I don't have the plastic "hemi hat" or the factory airbox so didn't have to remove those.

I ended up taking the plastic inner wheel well/fender out and the tire off to access the drivers side.

Here is a pic of the plugs

Bet it runs a lot better now lol. Hope you didn’t drop them in closing the gap on the new plugs.

No didn't drop them in, used the plug wrench to lower them in and hand tighten. Yeah Next time I'll change them earlier haha. The plugs that were in there were champion 3570 which appear to be platinum, I used champion copper core like factory.

Truck definitely feels smoother but to be honest it wasn't really running that bad with the old plugs surprisingly. It did have a few hard starts though recently that pushed me to make time and do them.

If you measure the gap, subtract .044" from it. For every thousandth generally equals 2000 miles.
Example. .065-.044 = .021
21 x 2000 = 42000 mi
Sounds like the old girl needed some luv... how do the high tension wires look?

Yeah, it's not an easy job.

Some idiot put E3's in my Hemi and it didn't like em'.

Its a easy mod. The hydroboost unit can be found on ebay and Rockauto. The hardest part for me was trying to find the right hoses. After buying a couple and still not happy with them I carried the ends I needed and had custom hoses made locally. Weedahoe did a great write-up years ago that I followed. Basically it is a 1600psi system. Pump pressure goes to the hydro-boost unit, then to the power steering rack and pinion, then to the cooler and back to the reservoir. There is also a low pressure return from the hydroboost unit that "tee's" into the reservoir return from the cooler. Years ago I converted to small rear brakes and installed the hydroboost to improve stopping power. It's a good mod IMO..

Wires looked ok but a couple coils are looking rusty, Runs good though. I like that Hydro boost brake mod! Does it make the brakes noticeably stronger?
I did check the gap on the new plugs and they were all good.

IMO, if you have tall/heavy tires or are running small brakes you need to be using hydroboost.
