Formula 4 Spray Wax

I decided to give this a shot since all my vehicles are black and I live in FL and usually have to wash in the sun. Worked great, will never wash a car without it again.

So...you run that stuff through your home portable power washer unit? Or are you using it as the hand wash (sponge n bucket) soap solution?

Prevents water spots. Used it on all the vehicles this weekend and it worked well. This video explains the process of using it while washing.

I got it at O'reillys. That was the only local auto store in my area that carried or could order it. Otherwise, in looking on the infi-net the other option was do order direct from Superior Products. About $20 a bottle and since you dilute it, it will go a long way.

Ok, that matches up with what I found, direct and O'Reillys. Unfortunately for me, the closest O'Reilly's is about 50 miles away in the next state (CT). I ordered it from them as a Ship-to-home, their shipping was half what Superior wanted to charge.

What level are you diluting it to? I see on Superior's site they say 10:1, but the video recommended (If I heard correctly) 3:1.

I went with the 3:1 ratio since I have black cars and have no choice but to wash directly in the sun in hot Florida!

It worked for me. I don't have to do a waterless wash after a wash anymore! I can get thru my wash a little faster as well since I don't have to concentrate on a panel at a time. That time saved alone made it worth it for me.

I have only seen a few, don:t really follow, but I probably should. What I have seen from him has been very helpful.

Have not heard of DCP Shield.

I'll keep an eye out for the DPC. All I can find is the application for concrete. Seems like this company is moving into the automotive market? May end up being a quality product!
