1st, very sorry if this has been asked an answered.
I have seen many posts, but none seem to answer.
So, I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7 - 135,000 miles
DPF Delete
EGR Delete
Running "RaceME" tuner
Well, just set to either "Standard" or Economy
From time to time I put in Performance
Standard mode is just bypasses the errors for the DPF and EGR delete.
Last winter driving to work, temp gauge showed water temp at 220.
and started blowing cold air.
I drained coolant
Replaced thermostat
back flushed heater core
nothing bad came out.
Temp of hose going into and out of heater core feel the same.
Replaced water pump
Made sure there was no air in the system.
Then with the RaceME tuner,
I took it out of Economy mode, put it into standard mode
Everything started working again.
Now a few weeks ago, the heater is blowing cold air when at idle
stop lights etc.
Read online it might be the recirculation blend door actuator.
replaced the recirculation door actuator - didn't help.
Took the recirculation blend flap out completely.
didn't help.
Nothing is leaking into the cab, so I do not think the heater core is leaking.
Thoughts?
About ready to drive this off a cliff!
