I've seen quite a few people on here having the same issues with their key fobs. The buttons become extremely sensitive to the point were you can't even have your keys in your pocket. I had the same problem up until a few days ago. I finally fixed it, it was extremely easy and only took a few minutes.
Start by removing the hidden key
Then remove the small screw holding the two pieces together
Gently pry the two pieces apart
Now you should be looking at this
Remove the green electronic piece from the rubber buttons
Now to fix the issue you need to clean up the gold contacts on the green electronic piece. On my key fob the there was a rubber piece that came lose and that was causing the lock button to be super sensitive. (Pictured below)
Clean the contacts and super glue the small rubber piece back into place. ONLY USE A SMALL DOT OF SUPER GLUE. You don't want it to stick to the gold contact points.
After applying that small fix my key fob works great!
Hopefully that helps some people out there. Let me know if I missed anything or if I confused anybody.
