So I found a place to get my truck dyno'd close to where I live so I went in there today. After several attempts the tech tells me he cant get it to work. Says when ever he opens up the throttle it like stalls and goes up and down and does all this wonky ****. He had it so only the back wheels were on it because it wouldn't fit anyway else. He told me its probably sensing the front wheels not spinning and thinking it slipping or something.

This was an import place and they don't normally do trucks....looks like I'll have to do more searching for a place with a bigger tester.

Only my back tires fit on it too. Lol. That shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think.

That's really odd that it's not letting you dyno, but all the power is probably all in the headlights.

I went through the same thing and I was told that my truck was hitting the speed limiter of 105. They tried 4 times to get her to pull, but she'd shut down. I have the video if anyone is interested. (Sorry for the jack....we now continue with our regularly scheduled thread.)

Oh yeah. She's probably right. Do you have a superchip or something to turn the governor off? My truck didn't hit it's max horsepower until around 129 mph.

No tuners for the 2011's. My performance dealer said he might be able to set my limiter higher, but he isn't sure. She should go in next week for a test. I will keep you all posted.

Pretty sure my truck is just to powerful for modern technology. Looks like I'll have to wait 50-60 years for the rest of the world to catch up.

Did he turn off the Traction control? If it was on the truck would think the rear end was loosing traction. Trup had no problems dynoing his.

DTC on the 2011 is serious business... I was trying to do a short burn out to show a guy a work with what a man's truck can do. (He's got an '04 Ford Explorer Adrenaline.)

It would rev, slip and then rev back down as soon as it saw the front wheels weren't turning. Then I remembered the DTC, kicked that off and was able to successfully able to recoat the blacktop with a new layer of rubber.
