I have a 2018 Ram 1500 Hemi V8 and been serviced by the dealer for 4 years and just noticed on the service report they are using a 5W20 Synthetic Blend. I have a Free Oil For Life program every 6,000 miles and have 67,000 miles. Are there any issues with using this lower grade oil? Only noticed this because it developed the annoying manifold ticking which they are fixing for free under a complementary extended warranty so I reviewed the report closer. Free oil changes is hard to argue and wonder if I paid a difference in price for full synthetic if they actually would or just say they did but somewhat loyal considering oil changes are free and they are fixing the manifold issue for free.
