Paint factory wheels?

I am considering getting black wheels but i really like my factory wheels. Just wish they were black.

Is painting them a good alternative to buying all new wheels and then trying to sell my stock wheels?

I here of different methods but I really have no idea if painting is a good option or not.

Curious if any one has painted their stock wheels?

Let me know where you live, I will drop my truck off and you can paint mine first, to see if you will like it, lol
I want black rims too.
Found a set of 20" Factory black on craigslist for 950.00
in my area.
ALSO been talking to a guy up the street who plastic dipped his rims on his sports car, and it looked good.
really don't know what I want tho, factory black, plastic dipped or after market

Did you leave the center plug chrome on purpose??

How long since you dipped them? Holding up well?

Been only a couple months but holding up really well. I just wipe it off with Armor All interior detailer

Did you use the glossifier or a different clear coat? They look really good

Mine have been painted a matte grey metallic. I love them. I would never touch plastidip either.
