Was told by my mechanic that I needed a new purge valve while he was changing my ESIM module. He showed me where it is and I am pretty sure I can do it myself. (i am disabled so i have some limitations). Looks easy enough. I went to look at getting one and was surprised to see so many at different prices. My question is, does it really matter who makes it? I am on disability so I have to be careful with spending, but if it's another get what you pay for item, then I might spend more than $20 on one. What do you guys think?

It's a simple solenoid, not a sensor.

That being the case, a cheap aftermarket one will probably be fine.

Of course, these days with all that **** coming from China, there's and quality being so poor, there's a chance it wont work at all.

But, it's worth a shot.
