Hi All,
Posting a recent issue that I had on my 2015 2500 Cummins Laramie with ~250,000km on it. It has the factory auto-leveling airbags. I dug around on the internet trying to diagnose my issue and I had to get quite deep until I found what actually matched my problem, which is why I'm posting here to hopefully help others.

Was driving down the highway and suddenly got the "Immediate Air Suspension Service/Repair Required" pop up on my dash. When I got to work the rear air suspension was not sagging or anything, seemed level enough. I drove it home and plugged in AlfaOBD. Got the following codes C1556 (seemed to be the primary one, air suspension failure code), C15D9, C15A1 & C2212 were others that popped up. In the "Air suspension control module" section, I ran the "Compressor Circuit Test" and it failed. I pushed the "alt trailer height" button on the center dash and the truck lowered itself as expected. When I pushed it again to raise, the light blinked and the "Immediate..." alarm flashed again, truck did not move. Seems my system was holding air, but couldn't fill. After digging around on the internet, pulling and re-inserting the fuses as suggested, I found deep in a thread that a guy found the power wires that go into the compressor motor were cracked, corroded and sheared off. I decided to slide underneath and pull the compressor assembly. It was pretty easy, first I used AlfaOBD to let all the air out of the bags. Disconnected the 3x small air lines (left, right, tank), 3x electrical connections and the vent/fill hose from the module and then its only 4 bolts holding it to the frame. Once I got it off the truck I could see right away I had the same problem as what I found online. The power wires for the compressor motor where damaged/corroded and the one (brown) wire was completely severed (see picture). I ordered a full new compressor assembly (68349607AA - replaces original 68239571AA) for $760CAD from CanadaMoparParts.ca and comes with a $125 core, so will cost me $635CAD all in. It was quick to install as its just the 3x lines, 3x electrical, 1x hose & 4x bolts, back in in 30 minutes. I did not purge the system with nitrogen as its an open system and the nitrogen would be purged out with a few cycles quickly anyway. Fired the truck up, new compressor immediately started running, all codes gone, truck lifted back up to its normal position. Back on the road and good to go, no issues after a few days driving. Also posted a schematic of the air suspension location (ignore the red circle in it, thats the vent/fill) and a picture of the full assembly i replaced.

Hope this helps someone.
Shawn
