Hello Everyone,

I have a capability question on towing. I've done some research and I think I'm good, just want to make sure I've done the calculations right and not missed anything.

I have a 2019 Classic 1500 Tradesman Crew cab with 6'4" bed with the Ecodiesel and 3.55 gear ratio.
My travel trailer weighs 4278 dry and I calculate 4678 loaded.

Payload capacity for the truck is 1200 pounds and we'll have 1092 pounds in it including passengers, cargo, hitch and tongue weight.

I found the truck has a GCWR of 13750, and I'll come in at 11168, given a curb weight of the truck at 5398.

Does this sound right? I think I'm good but want to make sure.

Thanks for the help!

It looks good from here ;) I'd hit a CAT scale if there's one nearby to see how the weight is distributed once you're loaded up.
Having a 1500 with the 6'4 bed is nice, there aren't too many of them in my area. Good luck with the ecoD.
