Like the title says, post your rig/trailer combos and campsite pics. If you'd like post the location.
To start the year in January we went to Fort Wilderness. I usually double towed in the past but finally got our toyhauler for the golf car.
First Pic was an overnight stop in Enfield KOA. Second is the Fort.

Last week we stayed at First Landing in VA Beach site #171. Probably the tightest site getting in I've ever backed into. But once in there was room for the slides.

Last was a rest stop coming home.
Rig is 2018 3500 DRW Limited H.O. and 2024 Momentum 415G Toyhauler. Golf car is a 2005 Yamaha 48v G22.

My first trip is scheduled for June right now, will post something when I go. Maybe before that if the gods are with me. Have a few upgrades to do first.

That is a lot of trailer, but it looks like its comfortable for sure.

They changed the website for booking campsites in my area and so far I have not been able to get any.

Looking at August now before I can get a spot. If this is the way it's going to go my camping days might be done.

We were loaded up and ready to head to Bodega Bay on the CA coast but never left the house. No way I was going to tow over Donner Pass in ice and snow.

The reservation process is sometimes difficult around here too. A lot of places we looked at were booked six months to a year out.

I don’t do much summer camping in Alberta or B.C. anymore. Reservations get bought out the first day and planning of the summer activities often needs to be done with only weeks of notice instead of months. I have, however, had great luck getting short notice spots in the western states. Tillicum beach is still nigh impossible to get a summer spot.

Depending on where you are wanting to go, you'll find reservations are getting to be booked out for months in advance. I can't even get in to some of the campgrounds we used to use for some of our annual vacations - Covid and the subsequent lack of hotel space pushed people into RVs (and drove up campsite prices), and they haven't gotten back out of them yet.

We've just adjusted - we take a look at when and where we want to go starting in January for the summer, and make our reservations as soon as we can. It makes things a bit more difficult but we will survive it.

That VABeach stay was one of the only sites available for that (Springbreak) week at that size (50'). And that was booked over a year ago according to my wife.
Popular weeks at Popular places are going to be like that. They always were but is definitely worse for sure.

I had to look it up, haven't heard of it before since we mostly camp the eastern side of PA. Are the sites plenty big? Some state parks can be a bear.
Yes. The outer sites are shaded. The inner sites are open. We camp on the outer sites as you can stare back into the woods and never even know you got a neighbor.

There are only 45 sites and even on a holiday it doesn't feel crowded fully reserved.

On a regular weekend, it rarely fills up.

There are no full hook ups and not much to do but enjoy the outdoors. Which is perfect for us, but some need entertained and comforted.

That's my kind of camping area, few people and if there is no cell reception it's even better. :drunk:

Our last trip to Seminole Canyon State Park in Texas. It’s a rough and beautiful place. It was 105* in early May!
