My bad, your fuse box is under the hood. Sincere apologies, old habits die hard. Check your power and grounds. Suggest finding a new power source for your LOC and good chassis grounds on amp and LOC. If you still have static check speaker and power wire proximity. After that it’s running down...
You got that right! I have a 3.6 and going from the stock 33” SRA OEM street tire to E load 34” tire WITH a Speedo recalibration it is still noticeably less zippy after first gear.
Do you have an aftermarket radio? Subwoofer with an external amp? The thump, thump you are hearing at startup and shut down are the amplifier capacitors powering up or shutting down. It looks like you are using a line output converter with a trigger wire for an external amp. Your head...
I’m missing something. You said your rear view mirror is mounted but the factory mounting stud isn’t being used. Are you using a aftermarket rear view mirror or have you installed a different mirror and mount? Possibly the windshield was replaced and the windshield repair company did something...
If you have flushed the system, no leaks and sure the thermostat and radiator are working efficiently you really only have the water pump left. Exterior condition isn’t an indicator of internal condition. Some aftermarket pumps have chrome or polished aluminum housings. Heck some aftermarket...
When you added the new ground wire did you cut or disconnect the existing factory ground wire? If you did, that factory ground may have supplied the ground to the other bulbs or contributed to their function. Also are you using halogen or LEDs?
Run RMI25 through the cooling system. It’s a very good product and will remove contaminants and slime out to the overflow tank where you can suck it out with a pump or fluid syringe. Also is the water pump original? Sounds like your cooling system is operating as it should but the fluid isn’t...
Daw14 has been around this forum awhile and he was probably serious about asking if you’ll ever be back to update your situation. It happens all the time and I’ve only been here about three years. The amount of people joining to vent their frustration is more than you may think. As a forum the...
+1 what jws123 said. If you have a working fan but only one speed it’s a blower motor resistor. The wet passenger side floorboard is most likely a clogged drain. Find the drain and blow compressed air into the drain tube or fish a length of .095 string trimmer line up into the drain tube to...
Is the screen delaminating? Look at the touchscreen from the side, do you see an air pocket or what looks like bubbles at the top or sides of the screen? If the screen is delaminating it will give you “phantom touches” like the radio is possessed. A replacement screen is about $300 and an easy DIY.
+1 what Quick_Shifter recommends. Back in 2019 I followed Quicks and Nick at gotexhaust advice and went with Bilstein 5100’s and Mevotech UCA’s. Four years later I’m happy I did what they recommended. Not one problem with that setup. Granted I don’t do any real off roading aside from grassy...
I’m with Hagar1 on this. It’s probably time for a good cooling system overhaul so a detergent flush would be a good route. After you flush the system run the RMI25 through the system as Burla recommends. It’s good stuff and worked well for me with coolant/oil contamination. Could be time for a...
