Have you tried to isolate the noise to a certain area ? Maybe try a dowel rod touching different areas of the engine to hear it louder . Add a sound clip to this , it might help us to get an idea.
Go to a different dealer , lots do not want to do work that they can not make lots of money off of . Try others , they are out there . Just have to get lucky and find a competent advisor and technician.

You could get a two into one ,or two in two out muffler. There are lots of options out there nowadays. I prefer magnaflow, I have one on my truck ,it’s ten years old and is still solid . I like the sound and highly recommend.
Take a pair of those spares and put a belt sander to them , or have them milled flat. They are done warping now with so many heat cycles. Another set of mopar bolts and studs should be the end of this issue.
