I have a 2017 ram 1500 and the Uconnect 5" unit back up camera quit all together (the screen does not change at all when in reverse), phone (only) audio quit (volume control is on "0" and unchangeable) and the clock disappeared but you can go though settings and see the correct time but not on the home screen. So if this is a hardware issue, Will one out of a 2018 Jeep 5" work? they are physically the same but different part #s. Any input would be greatly appreciated. can anyone tell me if they will interchange? Or is this a software issue?

No I have not, I never thought about that going through the OBDII and no alerts have come up. I will check it today.

No I have not, but I think it may be a software issue. I am currently trying to locate a downloadable file I can reinstall into my truck.

Try a hard reset yet?

I could be wrong, but I think on the 3" radios, you hold the power button for 10 seconds.

I think I was mistaken about the hard reset method above.

A couple forum searches indicate that this may be the proper procedure:

With the radio powered on press the volume button and the tuner button until the screen shuts off and let off the buttons immediately, than take the key out of the ignition and open the door for 30 seconds. Than power on the truck turn on your radio and it should work! Hope this helps some of you!

If you don't resolve your issue. Message me and maybe we could work out a deal. I have an OEM 5" from my 2017 Ram that I need to sell. Perfect working order when I removed it in 2020.
