Anyone have one yet?

I'm thinking of getting one, but I wonder if I can put the box at the tailgate end of the truck if I wanted to?

I saw the instructions on how to put it together, but nothing about how it "mounts". In one of the vids, you can see guy lift up the side of it. It just sits on the rails of the Bakflip. So, I assume it will work at the back of the bed, but......I would need a clamp or 2 so it doesn't slide around I guess.

JJ you could clamp it like you stated but I think a bed bar would be a better choice so theres no stress on the bakflip. Do a search on them, its extendable and mounts anywhere. Basicaly a rod with a torsion system to push and lock from side to side.

Yeah......and they are cheap at Harbor Freight.......I think? LOL

I'll find out soon - I just ordered a Bakbox.

I ordered it from the Bak Factory Outlet - for $220 shipped. Give them a call if you want to order, I asked it they would honor this price for others.

Thats it...........time to move funds out of my Paypal account. Just like the reason I don't carry cash (I SPEND IT FAST), I can't have money sitting in my Paypal........

The one and only.

BUT, not sure if you knew this or not - they stood behind their product! They swapped out my G2 for a F1 (more expensive one) for free. I wish it would have fit the new truck! I was happy that they stood behind it, I bought another one for the new truck, and now this.

Hell, lets be honest - the only issue I had with the old one was that acorns dented it. It wasn't all that bad.......in fact, when I sold the old G2 - the guy looked at me and said he couldn't see 'em. I am just **** retentive.

Lemme know how that works out for you. Been thinking tool box for mine here recently because I miss the one out of my 1997. If it works with a tonneu cover, then even better.

The only thing that makes me "wonder" about this - is the size. Its not huge, but I think it will fit for exactly what I need it for. errr.......groceries and small boxes. LOL

That's my point... Maybe throw some network tools back there or some other small tools that I use often. Would be a nice alternative to that underseat storage that I'm losing.
