Got the other front side on along with the hood & headlight extension this morning. I'm liking the way it's going to look when completed.

Thanks!Turning out really nice
Thanks! That's good advice. One thing I will point out about the install is when you install the fenders first to fit the stock hood is the back of the hood hits. So I trimmed the drivers side to clear. Bad move. I left the passengers side alone even though it was rubbing. When I put the hood on, the passengers side was fine. The drivers side will need some work to close the gap. That looks good, just take your time and don't rush it
Thanks!That looks awesome!!
Thanks! Yes, it's an easy fix. The headlight extensions will need some TLC as well.Looking good! I can see the extra gap in the aerial photo when comparing to the other side. Is this something you can fix or body shop?
Im impressed with how good those lines are. Keep the updates coming.Got the other front side on along with the hood & headlight extension this morning. I'm liking the way it's going to look when completed.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to get another one today. They have flappable cutters so 2 should do the job. I'm going toget several pilot bits as well. Nothing worse than being in the middle of a job and having to go fetch another part.I hate popping spot welds.. though the bit and panel separator bars make a world of difference.
I'd say I get 30-40 spot welds per bit on the 69 Mustang we're restoring. So make sure you have spares.
Sounds like a jam up build! If you drop that Coyote motor in it you might want to get him some road coarse track time to get use to the power! lol. Them Stangs are known for swapping ends quickly! Good luck with the build!Originally she had a 351 2bbl, I had a poked and stroked 408 Clvd motor built, backed by a toploader 4spd. Popped that motor decades ago.. I blame the builder, but I didn't have the coin at 19yrs old to prove it. A new house, two babies, and other hobbies later and she's been sitting in one garage or another since. My now 18 yr old son wants to restore it. So we started tearing it down a year or so ago and it's been a very slow going process. Found the Trq boxes and floor pans were shot.. so we're in the process of doing that now.
My son wants to go full modern suspension kits front and rear, eliminating the shock towers, and dropping in a Coyote motor. I'm not sure myself. I'm thinking another built pushrod motor, but with fuel injection this time. I don't feel like dealing with carbs anymore.
