i had my driveshaft fall out with 15,307 miles on the clock on 5/30/11 off the transmission side of it

now here we are today with 15,658 miles on the clock(for you math whizzes thats 351 miles later) we have this.

and this is AFTER a new shaft was installed

i pulled this boat saturday to the lake 150ish miles round trip and a 150ish mile round trip today unloaded

its light enough a v6 chevy astro van can pull it.

Wow is this a common issue on 4th gen? I have 35,000 and no problem yet. I don't think it has anything to do with towing I have towed something like 4 or 5,000 miles on mine since I owned it and I have no clue on the first 28,000 what was done as I bought it used. Trailers ranging from about 12ft to 20ft and my boat 130 miles each trip. Please update when they "explain" why this has happened. Good luck!

Dude if I was you I would call the people about the lemon law, that would be a step in the right direction, maybe they could help you settle it and you could get a brand new 2500
