Nerf bars.

Hey all,

I’m new to the forum. I bought a 2015 Ram 1500 Big Horn crew cab in October. I’m loving the truck but it didn’t come with running boards or nerf bars. I’m looking at these or the IBoards. Thoughts, comments, reviews?

look pretty good for the money. brackets seem a little flimsy is only gripe I might have.

run amuck. Thanks for the reply. The amazon add says it will support something like 425 lbs. I’m sceptical, good thing I don’t weight anywhere near that much. I’m wonering in I sprayed the brackets with some kind of undercoating if that would keep them from rusting off the truck?

I use iBoard. Simple, nothing flashy, very durable and effective. On my 4th set.. PS: I'm a ****** and never broke a set.

I have those same brackets with similar boards and they are plenty strong. I like the slim line, minimalist look instead of bulky brackets.

I saw those. I kind of prefer the curved ones. I did consider them though.

My truck had iBoards on when i bought it. 2yo at most if put on new by previous owner and the brackets were fully rusted on the surface with the rails showing significantly through the black. Seemed very cheap and looked sad. I replaced with the Tyger Auto TG-RS2D40078 and have been very pleased.

The install was pretty straightforward, so far I like them. We’ll see how long they last.
