Hello gents,
I've got a little over 87K miles on my Ram 1500 2WD w/ 5.7 Hemi. It still has the stock front and rear factory shocks and I would like to replace them with new shocks. I'm not into sport driving, I dont want a rough ride, I want a nice shock that will absorb potholes and road imperfections and give me a smooth ride.

What's available that works for my criteria that you guys have replaced?

Thanks.

I used the kyb excel g for awhile last year, truck rode great, I ended up having to go back to the kyb monomax because they were a bit too soft for a lowered truck and the crappy roads to my house. They would probably work well if you have factory suspension or just a rear 2 inch lowering

Thanks, I have a stock EVERYTHING on the suspension. So the KYB Monomax might be the ticket.
I appreciate the feedback.

If I was going to replace shocks, bilsteins all the way, if stock height the 5100 series, for a softer ride 5125s.

Thanks. I had Bilsteins on my previous 08' Ram and they were good.

I tried searching for the Bilstein 5125s models, but couldn't locate them. I only see the 5125.

Good to know. The KYB Excel G is what I've been looking at for my 2015 also.
