I think I will go back to the stock tires/rims tomorrow. then I will research what I want to do with this beast.

honestly though, will mpg's get better if I lower? or is that just a myth?

You have a 6000lb truck, you will not get good MPGs. If you lower it you may pick up 1mpg, level with 35's may loose about 1mpg, lift with 35-37 may loose about 1-2mpg.

Thats what I thought. I like the look of lifted 4th gens. I think I will go that way. I will just upgrade to 35's for the time being to make it look better.

If your not gonna use it for what it is as a lifted truck it's pointless imo besides looking cool. No offense to any lifted guys but imo to justify a lift and like 40" tires the thing should actually see something besides pavement every once in a while. As far as looks I spent like 3 hours on DT checkin out lifted 4th gen's, drooling actually lol, and I have to say I didn't see one I didn't absolutely love. Then again on the other hand, the lowered ones are drop dead gorgeous as well.

Don't lower a 4x4-- I say level it then wait and add a lift and some 35's but we really need a better pic's.

Honestly my head hurts from thinking. I took the rims off and now it looks like real sh*t!! Damn stock rims. I am truly torn on which way I should go... I just dont know
