Lowering rear and getting a better ride.
He was talking about lowering the rear by putting on shorter coils NOT the minor difference caused by air pressure changes. Lift, level or lower, realigning headlights is germaine and his advice is spot on.- Dean2

KYPO Agree, it is not all tractors or trailers, that is why I said "most" and that is an accurate statement, at least for on pavement. Off road like log haul, oil patch etc is still predomimantely spring suspension. .- Dean2

Unfortunately, from what the map shows, a lot of the U.S. is already suffering from a whole bunch of fires too. There are as many burning in the States as in Canada Going to be very smokey everywhere from the looks of it.- Dean2

Not a typical tire question. Load rating/side wall ply questions towing
Seems like the typical tire question to me. That said, on your 1500 the Es hurt nothing, help when towing and can be aired down when running empty. Tires aren't going to change the ride on a 1500 much, especially with the right pressure for empty vs towing, but they will sure make it tow...- Dean2

Here we just put the in paper rolls, that the Bank supplies for free, and the bank gives use full value for them. Would be surprised if your banks don't do the same as they need a supply for customers and shipping coin by truck is REALLY expensive. Way cheaper to get it from clients and charge...- Dean2

Over heating
Read the 8000 other overheating threads. Take the thermostat back out and test it to see if it actually opens where it is supposed to. Non-OEM are about 50% bad, even the OEM have a fairly high failure rate even new. Next suspect would be the water pump, reman and non-OEM of those, often are...- Dean2

Ride quality
Go buy a low mile Tundra that still had the V8, avoids all those things. If Toyota made a 2500 crew cab long box, that is exactly what I would be driving. That or a real low mileage Ram 1500.
