I did most of the above and a few modifications to it but they are definitely better. Coming to a stop at the end of my road which is a significant hill, they aren’t seeming like they are slipping now and not hearing that noise either.- duckman631

I thought the same thing about the shop after I heard about the procedures like above but on the Wagner site the procedure they also advise is to get up to 30mph then come to a stop and repeat 20 times. Camber adjustment bolts frozen
So… I had my entire suspension replaced on my 2016. I supplied all parts. The camber bolts per the mechanic are notorious for needing to be cut out. He quoted me $200 . Still trying to understand this better. So what I’m hearing is if you leave mds on, the 4 lifters get the lube that they need cause they are closed. If you turn it off they don’t. So are the 4 that stay open when mds is on not getting lubed ever? And if they are getting lubed, how come when...- duckman631

Seems like 2 schools of thought on this. I personally think owning an 8 cylinder and having all 8 cylinders on all the time is the way to go. I believe having 4 off, and would be off a lot if you do a lot of local driving, can’t be good and would promote uneven wear. I have 114k mi on my...- duckman631

I turn off mds with the gear up and down as second nature as soon as I put it in drive. I don’t like the sluggish feeling and drone sound. My understanding with mds is that it runs on 4 cylinders until under load then they all open up. Don’t see how not running all 8 all the time to promote...- duckman631
