    Yes, first remove the bolt that holds them down - then rap the tops of the solenoids with a rubber mallet a few times. Don't even bother trying try to twist them out by twisting the solenoid body. They snap off very easily. Instead, grip a pair of vice grips onto the TAB at the base and work...
