2014 Ram 1500 5.7 a/c cuts off occasionally

Hello. My 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 a/c cuts off occasionally. Seems to happen when idling not driving. It is the third time now it has shut off and the light goes off. If I hit the the button again it comes right back on. Any ideas. Low Freon maybe? Not hearing any noises.

No blown fuses yet. Come right back on when it does go off. Should I try one of the parts store kits for the freon or just take to the dealer?

Does it blow cold when it works ? If so Freon is good.

Try to find an independent shop , it’s a fan issue , a dealer will take a lot more of your money . An independent shop should be more reasonable.

Have you tried google-searching the issue? I would think there ought to be other owners who have had the same issue.

It appears to be the fan issue as mentioned. When I turned it on this morning it made quite of bit of noise. Mopar one is big $$$$
