    AGM Battery for sub/amp

I use an AGM. My system is close to 3000w. No issues, so far.

2024 Limited with Alpine System - What to do Next?

The truck is quiet for sure. However, the ANC is designed to reduce low frequency noise in the interior. You probably knew that. The reason people have noise issues when replacing front door speakers that emit lower frequency sound and when a subwoofer is added as well is because the ANC doesn't...

    2000w amp install

Probably right on here ↑ however, my sub amp is true 1500w RMS and amp powering front speakers is 1300w RMS. My electrical doesn't skip a beat. People get attached to terms such as "the big 3" and "HO Alternator" when the stock system will do justice 90% of the time. Now if your pushing a 5000w...

    2000w amp install

Amplifiers will not present a constant load to the electrical system. Music does not pull full power 100% of time you're listening to it. Sub amps pull more than amps to the rest of the system but about the only way your 2000w sub amp is going to draw full power is if your running a 30hz sine...

Another speaker question (9 speaker Alpine)

That stinks. I'm sure you're beyond frustrated but, it is rather simple to bypass the ANC. You can do so under the drivers seat or purchase a bypass module from PAC-audio.

4th gen 8.4 Uconnect and PAC ampPro

Need to double/triple check the following: Input level button.....out x-over knob......probably start with it straight up and down and then adjust from there check your sub wiring.....is it correct for the type of subs you have? BTW, are those subs 2ohm or 4ohm?

Another speaker question (9 speaker Alpine)

Good idea not to inform them of the speaker change. Just another reason for them to deny warranty. Glad they are changing it for you. Doesn't surprise me the amp failed. They are of poor quality.

2024 Limited Alpine 9-speaker saga continues...

Should be located behind the pass. backseat. If your window sticker states "subwoofer included" then I would say you have a bone to pick with your dealer.

Another speaker question (9 speaker Alpine)

Can a $100 set of speakers sound as good as a $1000 set? Possibly, maybe or possibly doubtful. What sounds good is definitely subjective for the most part. We hear things differently. With that being said, personally, I've never witnessed a $100 set sound better than a $1000 set. And now that...

2023 alpine 9 speaker upgrade question

Well 6x9's have more surface area and volume which is a plus when comparing speakers. However, there just are not many manufacturers that put a lot of effort in producing high quality 6x9's anymore. 6.5 is really the way to go. There are many more speaker options to choose from. Simple 6x9 to...

Amazon music, Sirius Xm, Spotify bitrates, Bluetooth vs USB connection, does it really matter in our stock audio systems?

This is me to a T. Except your ears have about 6 yrs on mine. Music is overly compressed nowadays.....probably more than in the past. It depends on the type of music as well. Rock music especially from the 80's is mixed mostly with bass/drums lower in the mix. Terrestrial radio - stinks XM -...

@MD Sledhead seems a troll made it onto the forum. I would ignore comments like the one above yours.

    Where to start?

@brunzca is on the right path. Listening to each speaker by itself won't tell you much. I have a higher end aftermarket system in my 23' Bighorn and if I isolate each speaker....one might say Wow! that much money doesn't sound great. Now listen to the system as a whole and everyone that I have...
