Ok. How did you lower the back 2 inches? Did you cut the springs or use a kit? This is what I want to do to mine.Decided to do the opposite of most and level by lowering the rear. Anyone else done the same? What should i look at for wheels/tires? View attachment 500048
Not my thing, but looks bad a$$
The lower a vehicle is to the ground the more aero it becomes. However he didn't drop the front so I was just curious if dropping the rear would give any benefit. It is the same as driving around with a load in the bed causing the rear to drop 2”. I don't see how that could affect the mpg any.
Nope. Had mine on a lift for new tires. The shocks and rear sway bar keep things in place same as oem springs. Though 2” shorter they still fit super tight into the spring pockets.Maybe an out there question, but has anyone that's done the 2" drop had your truck on a lift afterwards/since???? Wondering if the shorter springs are able to "fall" out when the rear axle is hanging. Just a thought.
Thank you zogg. Just though I'd ask.Nope. Had mine on a lift for new tires. The shocks and rear sway bar keep things in place same as oem springs. Though 2” shorter they still fit super tight into the spring pockets.
