I'm slowly upgrading my factory sound system with aftermarket components.
I picked up the alpine speakers and sub as it was free and I was going to use the enclosure with an upgraded sub before researching that I'm better off with a different enclosure. I now have everything I want listed out and am in the process of saving.
In the meantime I'm wondering if I can use the factory alpine sub and rewire it to be powered using an aftermarket amp? How would I do this? I already have an LOC and I have a few different amps kicking around...
The alpine sub connector has 4 wires going to the connector. Is this two positives and two negs? (I'm sure some of you are just shaking your heads lol)
any information would be greatly appreciated. I'd just like a little better bass until I can purchase the system I really want.
Thank you
