Installed some audio controls to my steering wheel that I bought off a member in the RF classified. Pretty straightforward and a really nice addition.

I did mine a couple months back, wasn't too bad. At least once you figure out how to release the airbag clips.

Did the drivers side finally. Way more challenging than passenger side from a few weeks ago.

I learned to start loosening the bolts at the broken end and work back.

Tried to do it from the other end and the extra pressure snapped a bolt when turning out.

All of my snapped bolts are flush of course. This was more aggravating than passenger side as I had all kinds of lines in the way trying to weld a nut on. Took 12 tries to weld nuts but praise God it finally happened. Also I think a completely cold block helps. I started this job with the block warm from a brief trip.

When I was ready to give up and thought one last try it finally backed out.

The welder makes it way easier than my lisle drill alignment template.

Whole job took 10 hours. Probably one whole hour was spent sanding down the old manifold. It was 2 to 3 mm bent. Got it pretty flat and smooth now.

Just hope to never have to repeat this job.

Changed the oil, rotated the tires and did all four brakes.

Gotta say the oil filter is in a rough spot. I saw some folks in here use a large plastic bag and "simply" let the oil drain into the bag as you remove the filter. Well, didn't work for me. The bag became saturated with oil, slipped out of my hand and of course oil everywhere.
Gotta do something different next time.

I can't figure out how to reset my oil life indicator. I'll poke around tonight on the inter webs.

The brake job went pretty smooth. The rear clips on the calipers were something I never saw before but it was pretty straight forward.

Thank you!
You can also turn the ignition to the run position, but don't start truck, and step on the gas pedal 3 times with-in roughly 10 seconds, turn ignition back off,and i usually open and close the door, that should reset the indicator.

There's a plethora of variations of oil filter relocation setups available. Some are a direct bolt in, some are "universal" and require some knowledge to make your own (cut to fit) hoses.

I went to direct bolt it route with a PacBrake relocation kit. Makes oil changes completely mess free. I run the larger Mopar 899 filter so I go an even 8 quarts on oil changes now.

Looks like a nice clean set up. I'll probably go this route next time.

Thanks for the link.
