Came back to the RAM community today. Got this 2013 RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab from my brother as he prepares to get himself a 2500 diesel. Same as my previous RAM I gave to my son...only a year newer. Time for the pilgrimage back north to its new home. Glad to keep it in the family.

Get it undercoated so it doesn't start rusting before your eyes. Who knows what's under those fender flares?? Unless its already been protected. I see 2013's around here getting real rusty, incl big holes in my neighbor's tk. Money well spent.

Or shoot some oil up into the box wheel arches...which you can do from in front (underneath) of the rear wheel area. But best to have it professionally done, along with the rockers, cab corners, front fenders, door & tailgate bottoms, and rear of the boxes (below taillights). Also the frame. It might seem good now, but it's just a matter of time before the lower part of the boxed frame rusts out. Don't forget the gas tank support (above the tank).

Oh...and remove the front fender liners and scrape off that deadener patch behind the "Hemi" badge and oil/grease that area up. Another common rust area -- right in the middle of the fender. It'll keep that truck looking nice for years. You'll be glad you did.

Maybe new wheels ??? Trucks look to be well cared for
I'll probably keep these wheels for now. My brother has taken excellent care of it since 2015. He's getting a 2500 diesel.

The only Toyo I have are the tires! I actually gave my son my 2012 two years ago and my grandson did something stupid and totaled it back in January.

This one has been garage kept since 2015. Unfortunately, I don't have a garage here in northern VA, so there are some measures I'm going to take.
