Hi

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport with the factory Alpine system and UConnect 8.4.

Everything is fine, except when I’m listening to audiobooks.

Even with the volume at max sometimes it’s difficult to hear the speaker.

I am not sure what’s going on. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

it got me thinking, is it possible just to replace the factory amp but keep the factory head unit.

I have a few high power amps hanging around.

Appreciate the advice.

Try turning up the volume using your phone's volume button while the book is playing through your truck radio.
