Hello everyone,

We wanted to come on here to remind you of a recall that was launched previously in an effort to increase the completion rate. Some 2021 Ram 1500s with the 5.7L eTorque engine may be included.
The recall number is 37A. Your vehicle may experience an engine shut down caused by an over rich fuel condition under certain operating conditions. An engine shutdown may result in an unexpected loss of motive power.
Your dealer will update the Powertrain Control Module calibration software. It will take about 30 minutes to complete.
Please send us a private message with your VIN and dealership if you are having trouble completing this recall.
You can learn more on recalls.mopar.com, or feel free to send us a private message. Wea re happy to answer any questions.

Thank you,
Ram Cares

I have not encountered any problems with my '21 Ram Limited with the eTorque engine in about 25K miles; will the the 37A fix cause problems and if I take it in for service what problems will the dealership cause - I don't want anything broken or damaged.

This. I also have the 2021 1500 with eTorque and have 0 issues.

Do you really think they would issue a recall KNOWING that it would cause more issues? Even if so, do you really think they would admit it?

It's just a software update that (as far as they know) should only patch the known issue.

I don't know - the fix could cause or may have already caused unintended problems, given that I hope that they did not intentionally cause the problem to start with. :)
