The volume on my radio goes up and down randomly.

This happens both when I'm driving and when I'm just sitting parked. It happens playing FM, streaming music or podcasts, or playing music from a thumb drive plugged into the USP port.

I do have the speed variable volume adjustment turned on. But the volume increasing and decreasing is definitely not related to changes in speed.

Anyone else have this problem? Know of any causes or solutions? Should I talk to the dealer about it?

Does it happen with the speed volume off?

I don't know. I haven't tried changing that setting. That might provide some more information, though.

I'd disable the speed volume adjust thing first and asee how it goes. I know I disabled mine as I didn't like the sudden fluctuations.

I am having the same problem on my 2019 classic big horn. I have never seen a "speed volume thing" so my model must not have it. But I really would like to find out what is causing it. It is maddening.

In the audio settings you will find the speed adjusted volume where you can turn it off.

Not a Ram, But my buddy at work had the same thing happen to him in his Subi. Come to find out, he was having moisture build up in between the touch screen and the radio face. The water dropplets were making contact and acting like someone was touching the volume buttons. Maybe the same thing going on here?
