I just got the truck back from the shop after an alignment as it pulled pretty good to the left. They told me that the driver's side is one inch shorter height wise than the passenger's. I measured myself and it is one inch short on the driver's front and rear. Is this normal or is there a suspension issue?

Truck has a 6 inch lift with the stock shocks. I purchased it like this. Has 35x12.5x20 tires.

Yes a little height side to side is common. Some blame it on the gas tank being on the drivers side. But i dont buy that personally.

That's what I was reading but my tank is only 32 gallons. My f150 has a 36 gallon tank and doesn't lean that much maybe a quarter inch.

Shorter is wheelbase and not to be confused with height. One inch short on the left side will definitely cause "pull" or "drift" to the left side. Time to do some close inspection if that's your issue, I've had a few come from the factory that way. Also some from frame damage or bent suspension components / axle shift.

Sorry I meant heightwise. The passenger's side stands ~1 inch taller that the driver's side. If you stand a bit away from it on a level surface you can see a slight lean. When it isn't so hot out I will measure from the ground to the fender.

seems fishy

I have done frame straightening before on a frame rack, since I worked as,a bodyman many years.I think you will discover something bent,or worn, whether your truck frame or suspension,if you look hard enough.Depends on the trucks history ,and repairs. There really isn't any other reason for it

I am confused now lol... Here is the paperwork from the alignment. Hopefully that helps explain my issue.

My truck has the same issue, and I know it has never been in an accident. The driver side has 1 inch less space between the top of the tire and the fender than the passenger side. It was this way with the stock suspension and remains the same after a 3 inch lift.

Couple updates since my post. I paid for a carfax for the truck and it shows an accident with damage to the passenger's side in 2018. And the shop that did the alignment told me that they measured the front coil springs and the driver's side is one inch smaller than the passenger's side.

They’ve probably put the wrong year spring in the pass. Side. Or a 2500 spring. New front springs that match , probably sort it out.
