Benny,
Can you confirm which part number I need for the bed step?
22 Ram 2500 big horn
Part Number: 82215842AI
Or
Part Number: 82215842AG
I guess I’m just curious about the price difference and what would be updated from the AG to the AI.
Thanks!
Congrats on the upgrade! I’m new to the 5th gens as well. Had an 18 1500 express v6 and just upgraded to the 2500 big horn 6.4. Love it so far! I did a bunch of mods on my 4th gen - not a whole lot to do on the new one. I’ll be lurking as well and already have my eyes set on power folding...
I was able to find the black clip but I couldn’t get the light to drop out so I went for the mirror to give me better access to the clip.
I flashed everything in with alfaobd and both sides were working for a couple months before I noticed the drivers side was out.
I will try using the express...
I acquired new sport package power folding mirrors for my express. The turn signal on my driver side mirror isn’t working and upon trying to remove the mirror glass (for what I thought might give me easier access to the LED) I broke some of the plastic from mechanism that moves the mirror...
I emailed Ripp and asked them about the tranny. Said they haven’t had any issues and have been running the SC for a couple years + a lot of hauling on long range trips. They say only sustained upper end torque would cause failure but I suppose time will tell for those who install.
Is anyone planning to or already put the order in for a Ripp Supercharger? Can’t imagine anyone would have it installed yet, but maybe I’m wrong. What are you plans for the power increase as far as it exceeding the transmission torque rating?
How much fun is this thing going to add to these...
2018 Ram 1500 Express. Bilstein 5100 leveling kit. Cooper discoverer at3 xlt 275/65R20. Nfab side steps. Peragon truck bed cover. Sport model power folding mirrors.
It took me months to get my mileage to correct. The hours took me several tries but it took the first weekend I installed the 7” cluster.
I figured the only reason my mileage corrected was because of the new Alfa update not long ago. Just reattempted it this past weekend.
I’ve heard guys have had problems when they don’t get the same style/year radio. Was told I should look for a 18-20 classic uaq. Can you elaborate on the work or do you have a picture I can see? Don’t really know what you’re referring to with the screen mount...
I’ve been on there fairly regularly. Got my 7” cluster and upper glove box there. Best price I’ve seen so far for the uaq is $800. Wasn’t sure if that was a good price or not.
Thanks for the write up @Scottieone12 . I’ll be installing this soon hopefully. Have most of the parts on order, & wiring ordered from @Mpgrimm2
Still searching for a uaq radio. Not sure what a good price is for one. If anyone has some input on what I should expect to pay for the uaq it’d be...
the cutsheet from the 2nd link is attached. Is your pin from the hood plug or from under the fuse box? From the terminal repair kit it matches the wording, but no clue if it’s an actual fit. That’s my reasoning for thinking of doing what y’all did with the 2019 you mention.
I somewhat care about the hood since I bought the latch. I was thinking of bypassing the plug under the fuse box all together and basically making a mock harness they sell with the kit by just tying into the factory hood wiring/plug. 40 bucks seems a bit steep for the kit just to try and wire it...
I may have missed this somewhere...but what connectors are used for the pcm plug on the motor side? I had the harness from the latch, and installed the new latch. Pin 11 is empty and I have the BCM connector(s) ready to order just haven’t seen a link or part number for the pcm side. I have a...
I changed my tire size and got no faults after backing out of the BCM and cycling my key. Didn’t even go into the abs. Has anyone else encountered this?
everything is up to date. I just went to reattempt total hours and it was changed correctly. Not sure what happened or how. The only thing I can think that I did differently is that I didn’t wait 30 sec like Alfa requests...just turned it off, waited for 5ish seconds and clicked it back to run...
